People who are going through immense struggles that I know need a word of encouragement like this to give them a hug - to remind them that they're loved and we're counting on them to make it through. Like 'Today I Will Not Worry' and 'You're Going To Be Okay', this ZOX was made for struggles all of us will endure at one time or another - the ones that take time to heal. We all know that life has a way of showing us some real hills and valleys. Sometimes things are great and we're on top of the world - other times, they're incredibly hard and we're just looking for a way back up. Maybe it's the loss of a loved one at a completely unexpected time, or chronic pain that you've been living with for so long now that your life feels defined by it. Maybe it's PTSD from experiences that have shaped who you've become as a person or a wonderful relationship that ended badly and you can not figure out why. Maybe it's the anxiety of not knowing what's next that's making you feel like a deer in headlights every waking moment. Whatever the case might be, I made this ZOX for you. One of the hardest questions we keep trying to answer after a traumatic experience is why. Why me? Why now? I named this ZOX and wrote the card with it for exactly those moments. It's your armor for the days when you're struggling to put things together - to understand what's going on. I believe there is one thing in struggles we face that will always be true: Your happiness is worth fighting for, no matter the emotions that come in and try to take that away. There may not be an answer to why things happen the way they do that we can understand, but my hope for this ZOX is that it'll give you peace with figuring it out as you go. The threads of your life that are being sewn together may not make sense now, but someday you'll see the beauty it's created. Beauty that inspires others to see things through, just as you have. People who are going through immense struggles that I know need a word of encouragement like this to give them a hug - to remind them that they're loved and we're counting on them to make it through. Like 'Today I Will Not Worry' and 'You're Going To Be Okay', this ZOX was made for struggles all of us will endure at one time or another - the ones that take time to heal. We all know that life has a way of showing us some real hills and valleys. Sometimes things are great and we're on top of the world - other times, they're incredibly hard and we're just looking for a way back up. Maybe it's the loss of a loved one at a completely unexpected time, or chronic pain that you've been living with for so long now that your life feels defined by it. Maybe it's PTSD from experiences that have shaped who you've become as a person or a wonderful relationship that ended badly and you can not figure out why. Maybe it's the anxiety of not knowing what's next that's making you feel like a deer in headlights every waking moment. Whatever the case might be, I made this ZOX for you. One of the hardest questions we keep trying to answer after a traumatic experience is why. Why me? Why now? I named this ZOX and wrote the card with it for exactly those moments. It's your armor for the days when you're struggling to put things together - to understand what's going on. I believe there is one thing in struggles we face that will always be true: Your happiness is worth fighting for, no matter the emotions that come in and try to take that away. There may not be an answer to why things happen the way they do that we can understand, but my hope for this ZOX is that it'll give you peace with figuring it out as you go. The threads of your life that are being sewn together may not make sense now, but someday you'll see the beauty it's created. Beauty that inspires others to see things through, just as you have. He had a profound impact on my life, teaching me invaluable lessons about loyalty, compassion, and the bond between humans and animals - something that's so powerful it's nearly impossible to put into words.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOne thing I'll always remember about Duke was his unwavering loyalty. Whether I was coming home from school or returning from a long trip, Duke would always be there to greet me, his tail wagging and his eyes sparkling with joy. He was a constant reminder that, in a world full of uncertainties, there are some things you can always count on - like the unconditional love of a pet.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDuke's gentle nature was another lesson in itself. Though he had the strength and size to be intimidating, he chose instead to approach everyone - humans and animals alike - with kindness and curiosity. Whether I was coming home from school or returning from a long trip, Duke would always be there to greet me, his tail wagging and his eyes sparkling with joy. I was so overwhelmed and thoughts of doubt kept racing through my mind: What had I gotten myself into? I’m not smart enough to be here. Maybe I should just pack my bags and move back to Kansas. I’m in over my head. There’s no way I’m going to be able to learn all of this… My mom wasn’t going to let me drown myself in negative thoughts, but she also didn’t let me have a pity party. She told me there was a reason that I’d been accepted to that school - I earned my spot just like everyone else. However, if I didn’t start believing in myself, all of that hard work that got me there was for nothing. She was right. Life isn’t always going to be easy, people aren’t always going to be there to pick me up when I waver or fall, but one thing I always have is myself. In that moment, I knew that the first step to getting through and excelling in my new journey was choosing to think positively and believe in myself. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t easy. Even now, I still have self-doubt from time to time. I still overthink things and question my own abilities. Though through all those challenges I've faced, I've found happiness. I've found that when I can prove to myself that I have what it takes, the doubt disappears. I was so overwhelmed and thoughts of doubt kept racing through my mind: What had I gotten myself into? I’m not smart enough to be here. Maybe I should just pack my bags and move back to Kansas. I’m in over my head. There’s no way I’m going to be able to learn all of this… My mom wasn’t going to let me drown myself in negative thoughts, but she also didn’t let me have a pity party. She told me there was a reason that I’d been accepted to that school - I earned my spot just like everyone else. However, if I didn’t start believing in myself, all of that hard work that got me there was for nothing. She was right. Life isn’t always going to be easy, people aren’t always going to be there to pick me up when I waver or fall, but one thing I always have is myself. In that moment, I knew that the first step to getting through and excelling in my new journey was choosing to think positively and believe in myself. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t easy. Even now, I still have self-doubt from time to time. I still overthink things and question my own abilities. Though through all those challenges I've faced, I've found happiness.
